Ideally you want to store all our linen somewhere in the bathroom, right? But, in reality there is not enough closet space or storage in the bathroom. What does one do then? Well, just like when I showed you how to build this diy plastic drawer storage system and this diy corner vegetable storage bin, there is an easy solution to this problem. I am talking about this diy linen tower project, that I recently uncovered.
We may have not explored many diy bathroom storage solutions on this blog so far. However, some of the projects like this one are actually beginner friendly and easy to build. Although there are power tools involved, they are only used to make simple straight cuts. You can shop online on eBay or Amazon for the baskets and then head out to the local hardware store for the wood. In addition to linen, this tower can be used to store your toiletries too.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 2×2 x 8′ boards
- 1×8 x 8′ boards
- pocket hole jig
- drill
- miter saw
- clamps
- tape measure
- pencil
- ear muffs
- safety googles
- pocket hole screws
- wood glue
- wood filler
- sand paper
- wood stain
- polyurethane
- baskets (optional)
In order to save time and energy building drawers this linen tower was designed to fit specific storage baskets. Therefore, if you can’t find baskets with the same dimensions, you may have to slightly adjust the plans. The shelf boards and supports are installed by drilling pocket holes and using pocket hole screws to attach them. Before you can complete the project by staining the tower, attach the shelves to the legs as per the instructions.
