DIY Corrugated Metal Raised Beds

I love experimenting with different garden bed designs in my garden. As evident in the past posts where I shared designs such as the diy hugelkultur garden bed, the kdiy cinder block keyhole garden design and the diy u-shaped raised garden bed. I recently discovered this diy corrugated metal raised garden bed design, that I am definitely going to try this next gardening season.

Often times when gardening tips are shared, the type of beds that you should plant in are hardly ever mentioned. An irrigation system can be installed to be used in conjunction with this bed, that will surely save time and energy when it comes to watering your plants. This project will take 1 or 2 days to complete, depending on your diy skill level.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

If you are installing the irrigation system, then you probably have to start by laying that out and leaving it to cure whilst you build the actual beds. Measure and cut out your metal panels as per the plans provided. Be careful when handling the cut panels, the edges will be sharp.

Redwood corners made from the 2x4s are used to protect you from any of the sharp edges. Cut out the required lumber and assemble the corners before, you can start assembling the panels. I really liked how the plans, go into detail on how to get everything done. I am sure these will work and look great in my garden. I can’t wait to build ours! 🙂
