When you need something quick to make for dinner or lunch, Tacos are usually high up on the list of things you can whip up quickly in your kitchen. So I was thinking today, why not spice up my next batch with this homemade taco seasoning recipe? huh?

Don’t worry this is a stupidly easy recipe. As for the ingredients, you probably have those in your kitchen pantry right now too. How much of your time will this take? Ummm just five minutes, that’s it!

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • chili powder
  • ground coriander
  • paprika
  • garlic powder
  • salt
  • cumin
  • oregano
  • crushed red pepper
  • cayenne
  • black pepper
  • mixing bowl
  • mason jar with lid
  • funnel

To make things easier for me and save me trips back and forth to the pantry, I just put out all the dry spices I needed. Then one by one I measured each one and added them to the mixing bowl before using the tablespoon to mix them well.

I did not want to make a mess, so I used a funnel to empty the well mixed contents of the mixing bowl into a clean mason jar before screwing the lid on tight. This recipe makes about one cup of seasoning, which is more than enough for a few applications.
