Growing Apple Trees From Seed

They say an apply a day keeps the doctor away. It would be so much easier to have an apple a day if you had an apple tree in the backyard, don’t you think? So how about the next time you have an apple you keep the seeds and try to grow an apple tree from those seeds. You could probably end up with a couple of apple tree seedlings that you can plant in your own backyard or give away to your family and friends.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Apple Seeds
  • Paper Towel
  • Sandwich Bag

Apple seeds take longer than most other seeds to start sprouting so you need to be patient. Do not forget to check and make sure that your paper towel remains moist in order to ensure that the seeds germinate. Expect to see sprouting in about four weeks or so.
