While the peaches are still available, why not make a healthy and tasty snack. You cannot go wrong with these Peach Basil Avocado Skewers, they look as delicious as they taste.
You can make some wraps too, with the same ingredients, but personally I prefer the skewers. Perfect for that mid afternoon snack or perhaps an appetizer.

Here Are The Ingredients You’ll Need:
- Skewers
- 1 small peach, sliced
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- handful of fresh basil leaves, shredded or chopped
- balsamic dressing (below)
- splash of lemon juice (optional)
- additional greens/veggies/salad (optional)
For the balsamic dressing:
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- pinch of salt
- pinch of fine black pepper
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard AND/OR 1 Tbsp chopped onion (for added flavor depth)
- optional: chopped herbs or additional spices
Preparation is very simple. You basically just slice the peaches and avocados and then skewer them. Drizzling some of that homemade balsamic dressing on the top and sides of your platter.
The wraps with the same ingredients are made using a slightly different method. However it is still very easy to do. Make these enjoy them, share them, enjoy them. Mmmmmmmmm.
