Surprisingly Kumquat trees is a very easy fruit to grow than most other citrus fruits. As far as nutritional value is concerned you get everything from Vitamin C, Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, calcium, copper, potassium, manganese, iron. zinc as well as fibre.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- kumquat seeds or seedlings
- compost
- organic manure
- organic fertilizer
- mulch
- cow manure
- pelleted chicken fertilizers
- artificial citrus specific fertilizers.
Find a location with well drained soil that gets a lot of sunlight. Prepare you soil with a nice rich compost before planting your tree. Avoid over-watering after they have become established as this may lead to the root rot. Don’t forget to mulch as this will help reduce evaporation and weeds.
During the initial amounts apply amounts of artificial fertilizer, then once the plant is established you can start to apply your organic ones.
