Here’s What You’ll Need:
- garlic cloves
- dehydrator
- sharp knife
- mortar and pestle
- strainer
- small bowl
- air tight container
- blender (optional)
- coffee grinder (optional)
- food processor (optional)
If you are living off grid and you do not have access to any source of electricity then using the mortar and pestle will be your only choice. Otherwise the blender, coffee grinder or food processor may save you a lot of time and energy.
As far as quantity is concerned, 3 heads of garlic can produce about 10 teaspoons of garlic powder. Store in an airtight container, placed in a cool dry area or your freezer.
