Have you ever heard the old saying chicken tastes better, well marinated. Well probably not, because I just made it up. We have tried a lot of homemade versions from homemade tomato ketchup to the homemade naan bread recipe. Today I am going to share with you this homemade chicken marinade recipe.
It has been dubbed the best chicken marinade ever, and you will probably feel the same way after you make and taste the chicken. It is super easy to make, but has a lot of flavor and also keeps the chicken very moist. The required ingredients are available in most kitchens, so that should not be an issue at all. Also this recipe allows you to make a large batch, as many as 6 large chicken breasts.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- chicken breast
- extra virgin oil
- balsamic vinegar
- soy sauce
- worcestershire sauce
- lemon juice
- brown sugar
- dried rosemary
- dijon mustard
- salt
- ground black pepper
- garlic powder
- large ziploc bag
- measuring cup
- whisk
- aluminium foil (optional)
In order to make the marinade, just add all the ingredients into the measuring cup and then whisk them well together. Put your breasts or chicken into the ziploc bag and pour the marinade over the chicken. Ideally you want it to sit and marinate for at least 4 hours for the best results, but even just 30 minutes will work just fine.
To cook the chicken, just grill it for 5 minutes on each side. If you rub the left over marinade on the breasts as you grill them. Also all left over marinade can be boiled in a saucepan and then used over the chicken as a sauce too. We normally do this, as there is usually a lot left in the ziploc bag. I personally do not
