Growing Lemon Cucumbers

I know these are some really weird looking cucumbers, which is why they caught my attention. I actually had to go online and spend a few minutes Google-ing  how to grow lemon cucumbers.

These are small round heirloom cucumbers which have lemon-colored skin. They look just like lemons but apparently they have a sweet taste.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • lemon cucumbers seeds
  • trellis or fence
  • compost
  • organic fertilizer

Drop the seeds half an inch deep, a few inches apart right below the bottom of each side of your trellis or fence. Do not worry too much about spacing, you can thin them out once they have germinated in about 7 days.

They will be ready for harvesting in about 60 days. Make sure you plant them in an area that receives a lot of sunshine in in your garden.
