I have posted many canning recipes and ideas on this blog but never a solution for storing your canned jars. Well today is the day we arre going to change that with this diy wood pallet canning jar pantry.
This is a great way to repurpose those wood pallets, which can often be found for free. The pantry will hold as many as 200 jars, enough to store all your canned jars in one place. Makes life so much easier.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 4 wood pallets
- sawzall
- nail gun
- construction adhesive
- heavy duty liquid nails
- 3″ coarse drywall screws
- handheld drill
- #2 screw bit
- 2×4 lumber
- reciprocating saw
- hammer (optional)
- paint or stain (optional)
So yeah, this is one of those pallet projects that involves first dismantling the pallets, using the reciprocating saw before you can them. However, do not waste your time and energy removing all the nails, they say you may end up damaging your boards. The boards will be used to build the actual shelves and the sides of your cabinet.
The frame for the pantry is constructed from the 2X4’s and the drywall screws hold everything together. The pallet boards are nailed to the frame using a nail gun or even a hammer. I think it looks better with just the untreated wood but you can always paint yours if you so wish.
