When you think of kiddie pools, you probably envision endless hours of summer fun splashing around with the kids. I think we have used them to make a few things on this blog before like the diy floating duck house and the diy kiddie pool chick brooder. Just this past Summer, I discovered you can also make a diy outdoor lounge from a kiddie pool.
There are quite a ton of useful ideas for diy outdoor lounges. Some are more durable and fixed than others. The one we will be focusing on in this post is more a temporary solution. You can set this up in a few minutes when you need to use it. When using outdoor pillows, you will be able to leave it set up for a few days at a time. Just remove the blanket, in case it rains.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- inflatable kiddie pool---------------------- Advertisement ----------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------- - blankets
- pillows
- air pump
Step By Step Instructions
Step 1.
Set up your kiddie pool, inflate it if need be.
Step 2.
Lay down some blankets on the bottom.
Step 3.
Arrange some pillows around the sides of the pool.
There you go, your lounge is ready to go. I would use different colored pillows as well as sizes too. Just don’t over do it, or you won’t have a lot of space left to actually sit inside and lounge. The choice to lay down a few blankets instead of one, is merely so that there is a little more cushion when you are sitting down. Enjoy! 🙂
