I wasn’t going to let winter go away this year, without sharing these. As we have already looked at how to make diy easy fingerless gloves and diy slouchy slipper socks, I thought that you may be interested in these too. What on earth am I talking about? Well, did you know that you could actually make your own diy instant hand warmers.
Yes! The first time I saw these homemade instant hand warmers in action I was amazed. Never in a million years did I ever think that it would be able to make these in your own kitchen. All you need is 4 simple things, to get started. It won’t even take more than 5 minutes to make each warmer. From today onwards, you no longer have to waste your hard earned money buying these.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- large ziploc bag
- small ziploc bag
- calcium chloride ice melter pellets
- glue (optional)
- water
If you look closely at the list above, there are two ziploc bags, water and the ice melter pellets. The water goes into the smaller bag, and the pellets in the larger bag. Then you place the water bag inside the larger bag. Extra care must be taken to make sure that the water bag is properly sealed before placing it inside the larger bag, in order to prevent any premature ‘warmer’ activation. It’s a great idea to make a few of these, and always have them handy! 🙂
