DIY Clothespin Plant Markers

During the peak gardening season, there is usually so much going on out there that if I make the mistake of not using markers, I would be completely lost as to what is growing where. In the previous posts we have looked at the diy wine cork plant markers and the diy popsicle stick garden markers. You could also make these diy clothespin plant markers, for your garden.

When it comes to plant markers, I always try to keep it as simple as possible. Also you do not want to spend too much money making these, they often last for just one season. The best way is to re-purpose different materials around the homestead and turn them into markers. For example, with these instead of buying new clothespins you could just use some of the old ones.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

If you have access to different colors of paint, you can go wild and paint the clothespins with different colors. Just make sure that you do not use the same color as your sharpie, or the label may not be visible. I like to just paint a few of these at a time, allow them to dry and then pack them away until their guidance is required in the garden. Then you can label and use them. 🙂
