Ok, now this is definitely a very innovative idea. The most people ever do with empty beer bottles is recycle them. Not this man from China, he built himself this diy beer bottle solar water heater instead.
I really love it when people take advantage of natural resources such as the sun, and recycle stuff that would have otherwise found its way to a dump or the back garage.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- beer bottles
- alfoil
- hose pipes
- plywood board
- 2x4s plywood
If you are not a beer drinker, you are going to either have to collect this empty bottles somewhere or recruit a family member to do the beer drinking for you. Ma Yanjun used 66 bottles for his project, so yes that is a lot of beer.
The bottles fill up with water via the hose pipes, the sun’s rays heat the water and the heated water is then carried out for use. He says that his system provides hot water for a family three.
