When I think of all the things I actually used to shell out my hard earned money for, it pains me. Simple things such as this homemade chai tea latte recipe, this homemade hair curl cream or even this canning homemade rotel recipe. There are quite a few ways to preserve your stock, but I just prefer to use this particular canning chicken chicken broth recipe.
You probably have your own favorite homemade chicken stock recipe, therefore I will not waste your time showing you how to make that. You are going to need to dust off your pressure canner for this canning recipe. I always recommend that you check out the instruction manual, to determine the right pressure to use for your altitude. A gallon of stock will make about 10 pints.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- homemade chicken stock
- canning jars with lids
- ladle
- jar lifter
- pressure canner
- kitchen towel
For you to be able to can the broth, you are going to have to make some. Lucky for you there is a link to my favorite homemade broth recipe above. With the broth in hand you can move on to the canning part, which is pretty simple. Ladle your broth into the canning jars, wipe the rims before screwing on the lids and processing the jars in your pressure canner. Told you, easy peezy! 🙂
