DIY Wood Pallet End Table

Alright it is time to have a little more fun with those wood pallets again. The last projects we looked at was the wood pallet bed with drawers and the diy wood pallet chicken dust bath. I though today we would try something a little less conplicated, this diy wood pallet end table.

As usual, you will need to grab some of those free pallets, they are usually available locally. They make up the bulk of the material needed for the tables. The rest of the items you can get from your local hardware store for less than ten bucks or use some materials left over from your previous projects.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • wood pallets
  • jig or circular saw
  • sand paper
  • wood nails or glue
  • pins
  • hand drill
  • wood stain (optional)

Unfortunately, this project requires you to go through the tedious work of dismantling your pallets. Use the jig or circular saw for this, and pry out any nails. Next, make the required cuts for your tables before sanding off any rough spots, unless you want the tables to have a rough look.

Assembly begins with the two frames, using wood nails and glue. Then you add the horizontal slats before constructing the legs. The legs are attached by drilling holes and using pins, nails and the glue. Once the legs are on, the table construction is complete. I am going to stain mine, to achieve the polished look, in the picture.
