I would like to thank my sister in law for introducing me to this little bright yellow pepper also known as the lemon drop pepper, originally from South American. You know I had to Google information on how to grow aji limon pepper.
It has a lemon like taste and is surprisingly very hot. Yeah think of them as jalapenos little cousin. Why do most HOT peppers come from down south, hmmmmm? She uses it in her famous mango salsa, but apparently you can use it for jams too.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- aji limon pepper seeds
- seedling trays
- compost
- organic fertilizer
- seed starting mix
It is recommended that you plant your seeds indoors a few weeks before the end of spring. As long as you keep them exposed to the sun, they should not take more than 2 weeks to germinate.
A little more care is required especially during germination for these seeds. They will be ready for harvest in about 100 days. They will continually produce more peppers for the rest of the growing season.
