Over the years I have used wood pallets for many different projects, but I think I finally have a favorite one. Whilst doing my daily Pinterest hour, I ran into these cute diy pallet serving trays.
Who knew that you could re-purpose those ugly free wood pallets into something so functional and pretty. There are so many things that I could serve on these trays including our afternoon high tea. Maybe even make some as gifts, hmmmm.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- wood pallet
- mitre saw or hacksaw
- hand drill
- wood screws
- hardware
You are going to need a few of the boards from the pallet, I hate dismantanly pallets so I measured mine and cut them off the pallet. The length will depend on how wide you want your tray to be. You can cut the bottom braces and screw them on.
Kelly and her hubby used about six screws per tray, I doubled mine just to make sure that my tray was sturdy and strong. I removed some antique drawer handles from an old chest and used those as the hardware. Maybe next time I will try another more complicated design which results in a tray with an outer lip.
