Yeah, I knew it was only a matter of time before someone figured this out. Today I ran into this homemade diy greenhouse that is built from wood pallets.
You will need to collect quite a number of pallets, because they make the main frame of the greenhouse. Most of the materials he was able to scrounge from a local dump. Total estimated cost of the project 5 Euro or $5 USD.

- wood screws & nails
- crowbar
- hand drill
- hand saw
- wire fence
- polythene
- 200 micron polythene (optional
If you do not enjoy taking apart wood pallets this is definitely not a project for you. There will be a lot of dismantling involved starting with the bottom frame all the way up to the roof roof trusses.
Although this project requires a lot of sweat equity, it can save you a lot of money. He suggests you upgrade the polythene to 200 micron which is a little more expensive and durable.
