DIY PVC Rabbit Tractor

It is not just your chickens that will thrive in a tractor, your rabbits will love it too. You can start them off in this easy to build diy pvc rabbit tractor.

What I like about PVC tractors, is that they are not as heavy as the wooden ones. One person can easily pick it up and move it to a new location. Total cost for this project is about $50.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 1″ PVC pipe 10 feet long
  • 1″ PVC fittings
  • 3″x2″ grid wire
  • 31″x1″ grid wire
  • plywood
  • hinges to attach door
  • bolts with wing nuts
  • cable ties
  • wire cutter
  • hacksaw or PVC pipe cutter
  • hand drill

Apparently you should not stress too much over your measurements for this project. The easiest way to get going is by building the first rectangle using the PVC pipes.

The size of this tractor will be roughly 2′x2′x6′. That should be sufficient for a few rabbits. Do not forget to secure the door with either a heavier piece of wood or a lock of some kind.
