Just when you start to feel like you have seen or heard it all, something shows up and decided to remind you otherwise. This is how I felt when I bumped into this diy chicken coop greenhouse today that was built in Louisana.
It is both a chicken coop and a greenhouse in one structure. Mostly built from recycled and re-puporsed materials. However the two are separated by a wall, therefore the chicken coop is on one side and the greenhouse is on the other side.

As you can see from the list of materials and tools, this project is a little more on the complicated side. As with any building project you start by selecting a nice area in your backyard and clearing it out.
The frame goes up first, followed by the roof supports and the roof. You can then move on to the fixtures such as nesting boxes and roosts for the chickens, as well as workbench and sink in the greenhouse. The coop measures 5 feet by 10 feet and the greenhouse measures 7 feet by 10 feet.
I love how they were able to make this structure multifunctional. For example the greenhouse section can be used as a gazebo and provide shade in the summer time when gardening. Pretty clever design, if you ask me!
