Here is one thing that doesn’t grow in the garden, but yet I absolutely love. In the past, I have made posts on how to grow oyster mushrooms, diy mushroom grow kit and even how to grow mushrooms in used coffer grounds. If you love your mushrooms, like I do. You are going to love this roasted mushrooms in browned butter recipe, too.
We have featured quite a few mushroom recipes, on this blog already. The only difference is whilst the others had mushrooms as one of the ingredients, in this one they are the main ingredient. Ideally you want to use button or cremini mushrooms, however you can use always whatever you have available. Same goes for the herbs and spices, feel free to experiment with your own blend.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- mushrooms
- oil
- salt and pepper
- butter
- garlic
- thyme
- lemon juice
- medium bowl
- baking sheet
- large saucepan
Alright, so there is three parts to this recipe. First you have to bake or grill the mushrooms in your oven after coating them with the oil and seasonong with salt and pepper. Allow about 20 minutes for this stage. Whilst they are in the oven, you can prepare the butter, garlic, thyme and lemon juice mix in a sauce pan. The cooked mushrooms are then tossed in the butter and then they are ready to serve. Enjoy! 🙂
