With Thanksgiving a few days away, I thought it would be wise to share this instant pot turkey breast recipe with you. You can enjoy it with all your other favorite recipes for the season such as the recipe or the recipe. Remember, this is one of the most important meals for the year.
There are thousands of turkey recipes available for your Thanksgiving feast. Although we all grew up waiting for the turkey to cook for hours in the oven. Science has now managed to help us save time spent in the kitchen preparing this feast. For instance, if you choose this recipe for your meal, your delicious turkey will be ready for serving within an hour. Plus you can use a frozen turkey too, so you don’t have to stress yourself out if forget to thaw it ahead of time.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- rubbed sage
- kosher salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- garlic powder
- dried thyme
- dried rosemary
- dried oregano
- olive oil
- frozen boneless turkey breast roast
- unsalted butter
- yellow onions
- celery
- chicken broth
- turkey gravy mix
- bay leaf
- corn starch
- cold water
- instant pot
- cutting board
- sharp knife
Since we are using a frozen turkey, we need to loosed the gravy packet that should be inside the turkey first. Whilst you thaw the gravy you can season the turkey and sautee the veggies. When the bird is prepped you start the instant pot off with the saute function. The turkey itself is cooked with the steam release knob set to ‘sealing’ and then use the manual setting for high pressure.
