It is very unfortunate that you cannot enjoy these cold, how on earth would you fold it? We have made the homemade fajita seasoning mix and even some copycat taco bell quesadilla. Both these recipes are going to be way much easier for you with these diy tortilla warmers.
This is definitely one of those beginner sewing projects, that anyone can try. Instead of using the sewing machine, you could just use a needle and thread if that is all you have. As for the fabric, I wouldn’t head out and buy it either. Instead find some old clothes or material and reuse that. It shouldn’t take you more than 30 minutes to make one of these.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- print fabric
- muslin
- cotton batting
- matching thread
- dinner plates (optional)
- sewing machine
- marking pen
- pins
You are going to need a template for your fabric, the easiest way is to find a plate that is the perfect size to fit your tortillas in. Each warmer requires 6 pieces, trace and cut them all out as instructed in the tutorials. Pin together and begin the stitching to make sew your warmer. Don’t get carried away and end up sewing the whole way around. LOL
