My poor ducks, they always seem forgotten. Well I have decided to give them some attention today at least. We have built the diy self filling duck waterer, the diy floating duck house and the diy cable spool duck house in earlier posts, right? Well, here is something else you probably need for your ducks. I am talking about this diy no mess duck waterer.
The reality of the situation is that you will probably go through a few of these diy duck waterer designs, before you can find something that works for you. What I love about this particular one is that it is super cheap and easy to make. You literally just need a plastic bucket and you are good to go. In addition to that it is a no mess and no spill design, which is just perfect.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 5 gallon plastic bucket
- hand held drill
- dremel
- safety glasses
- utility knife
- sandpaper or sander
- tape measure (optional)
- marker (optional)
In order to make life a lot easier for you I would recommend that you mark the 3 spots on your bucket where your holes will go. You should probably use a tape measure to place them equally around the bucket. You will need a couple of tools to cut out the holes and once you have the holes make sure that you send them down so that you do not injure your ducks when they use it.
