As if that was not enough, my friend Amy emailed me this delicious air fryer tilapia recipe just last week.
It’s very clear that I need to try way more air fryer recipes and trust me I am on it. This one here is the perfect addition to your quick and easy dinner menu. Just add mashed potatoes, rice, steamed veggies or even a salad and you good to go. I am still to try this though, but apparently you could also slice it up and make fish tacos too.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- tilapia fillets
- egg
- breadcrumbs
- parmesan cheese
- lemon zest
- garlic powder
- salt
- black pepper
- butter
- lemon juice
- salt
- large plate
- medium bowl
- air fryer
- whisk
Whilst you’re preheating the air fryer, you can make the ‘coating’ in the meantime. There will be two stations for the tilapia to go through before ending up in the air fryer. The first station is a medium bowl, which will contain the whisked egg.
Next, you want to mix the dry ingredients on a plate and place it adjacent the bowl. The tilapia is dipped in the egg mixture and then coated with the breadcrumb mixture, before making its way into the air fryer. Also make sure that you make the lemon butter, it makes the tilapia taste so much better.
