Oven Dried Strawberries

Here’s another delicious way to enjoy your strawberries and prolong the life of those that may start going bad. Have you ever tried to dry strawberries in your oven?

You do not need any special equipment, just your oven. What you will need is a whole lot of patience, because it will take a few hours before they are dried and ready to snack on.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • fresh strawberries
  • cookie baking sheet
  • aluminum foil paper (optional)
  • Ziploc bag or air tight container

After you have washed your strawberries and removed the green tops cut them up into quarters and lay them on the cookie sheet. It is completely up to you whether you want to use aluminum foil paper or not. Just don’t spray any non stick oil.

It should take the strawberries about 3 hours to dry at an oven temperature of 200 degrees F. When dry they will no longer stick to the cookie sheet and just come off easily. Store in a Ziploc bag in your fridge.
