Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • mason jar
  • mixing bowl
  • peppermint extract (optional)
  • xylitol or stevia sweetner(optional)

Step By Step Instructions

Step 1.

Add all your ingredients into a small bowl.

Step 2.

Mix all ingredients well.

Step 3.

This is optional, but you can add a few drops
of the peppermint extract for a minty fresh taste.

How does it work? The sea salt is an abrasive for the stains and also kills germs. The coconut oil kills bacteria, whilst preventing tooth decay and removing any harmful chemicals. The baking soda also helps fight the germs, removes stains, prevents bad breath and neutralizes your mouth.

Store your toothpaste in an air tight glass jar. It is recommended that you use this toothpaste at least twice daily. I tried this toothpaste, it is different from what you maybe used to, however it seems to do the trick. Best of all my girls didn’t seem to mind using it, which is awesome. If you find it bitter, then try the recipe below which adds xylitol instead of sea salt.
