How To Make Homemade Bubbles

Often we get carried away with the grown up stuff and forget the little ones too have to endure and enjoy the homestead lifestyle. I have in past made things like homemade fudgesicles for my girls. Today, I wanted to try something super fun like how to make homemade bubbles.

What I love about this project is they too can join in the fun, so we get to have some much needed quality family time. You will only need 2 other ingredients besides water to make your bubbles and you can start having fun with them within 5 minutes. Yep, it is that easy!

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • small jar or bowl
  • 4 tablespoons dish washing liquid
  • 2 tablespoons glycerin
  • 1 cup warm water
  • chopsticks
  • plumbing pipe

Step By Step Instructions

Step 1.

Add one cup of warm water into your small jar or bowl.

Step 2.

Then add the glycerin and the dish washing liquid.

Step 3.

Use one of the chopsticks to stir the mixture well.

Step 4.

Split the chopsticks into two, then make a circle with
the plumbing pipe and loop it together leaving two loose ends.

Step 5.

Wrap the loose ends around the base of the chopsticks,
this will attach the circle to it, to make the wand.

You can make different shapes with the plumbing pipe, just make sure you attach it well. To use just dip the wand into the solution you made, and then blow into the circle. Other things you may want to consider include using biodegradable dish washing liquid, which is a lot safer for the kids.
