So yes, this solution involves beer or soda. And yes you are going to have to drink some beer. How much you ask, well that all depends on how big your slug problem is. LOL

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• 12 pack of beer or soda
• a hoe or spade

If you are not a beer drinker, I am sure you can find someone who will be more than willing to help you and drink it for you. Otherwise just use soda cans instead.

All you need is one can for every two to four plants. The larger the problem, the less cans per plant. Just dig holes the size of the cans and bury them up to the top. Slugs and earwigs are  lured in by the sugar or yeast. They fall into the liquid, get trapped and drown.
