How To Get 2nd Cabbage Growth

I have previously discussed how to grow a second crop of tomatoes in one season. Well today we shall be looking at how to get a second growth from your cabbage.

It always amazes me how, simple things can produce big results. As you will see the simple method below, is so easy but apparently works like a charm. It does not affect your first cabbage crop in any way whatsoever.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • cabbage plants
  • a sharp knife

The Method/Trick:

1. Harvest your first crop of cabbage as you would normally do.

2. Before you leave the stump, just make two nicks in a cross pattern on top of it.

That’s all there is to it. If you keep watering the plants you should have new sprouts within 4 to 6 weeks. Yep! I gotta try this one next season for sure.
