Homemade Hamburger Seasoning Recipe

What is a summer grilling session without a couple of burgers, huh? If you do not know the answer to that, let me just tell you that you need burgers on your grill, and don’t forget the Mexican street corn too. You can spice up your burgers a little using this homemade hamburger seasoning recipe.

All the six ingredients you need for this recipe, are already in your kitchen. Preparation time is about 2 minutes and add another minute to mix everything together and you are good to go. The first time I tried this recipe, I didn’t expect it to make any significant difference to the taste and flavor, but boy was I wrong.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • paprika
  • cayenne
  • onion powder
  • garlic powder
  • sea salt
  • black pepper
  • small bowl
  • teaspoon
  • small salt shaker

The recipe calls for half a teaspoon of garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper. For those of us who are not cayenne pepper fans, just reduce accordingly perhaps a quarter teaspoon will be enough for you. In goes the 2 teaspoons of paprika before sprinkle in some sea salt and black pepper to season.

Now for the hard part, use your teaspoon to mix everything up well for about 30 seconds to a minute. Voila your seasoning is ready, carefully empty the contents of the bowl into your salt shaker. Whether its a veggie burger or its beefy cousin, go wild and season it with your ‘secret’ spice. Enjoy! 🙂
