Easy Layered Chili Canning Recipe

Who  doesn’t love chili? I do and my husband and kids love it too. The only thing I do not enjoy is having to create batches on demand, and it seems like I am not the only one who does not enjoy doing this.We are now into Fall here, and very soon winter will be upon us. You know the demand for chili in this household is going to go way up. So I have decided to always be prepared, have equal supply for the demand as per se. (…Smart lady!)

Today I did a quick search online for a chili canning recipe, and I think I found the perfect one. It uses dry beans and you do not even have to mix the ingredients you let the pressure canner do all the hard work. As for ingredients you will need dry beans, tomatoes, ground beef, onion, green chili, cumin, chilli powder, kosher salt, cayenne pepper, black pepper and non chlorinated water (bottled water will do).

In each clean pint size jar you layer the ingredients into each jar in the order given. You don’t have to mix anything up before putting in the jar as the actual canning process in the pressure canner will do all the work for you, isn’t that great.
