DIY Popsicle Stick Garden Markers

There a few things that I don’t mind doing during the winter season, especially if they involve getting ready for the gardening season. This past weekend, we decided to spend some family time making these diy popsicle stick garden markers.

These are super simple to make, they just require some time and patience while you wait for the different paints to dry. Everything you need is available in any dollar store or craft store and should not cost you an arm or leg, very affordable project.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • popsicle sticks
  • craft paint
  • foam paint brush
  • small paint brush
  • permanent marker

Gather all the materials you need and place them on the kitchen or dinning table. Then you get your family to sit around it, like it is dinner time. First thing that goes on is the foam paint on the tips of the popsicles. Then after they are dry the real fun part comes, painting carrots, tomatoes etc onto them.

Then we use the permanent marker to label the popsicle sticks with the vegetable names. You can make a whole bunch of these and either keep them for next season or to give away to your family and friends. We had so much fun making these, hope you guys do to.
