DIY Plastic Soda Bottle Sprinkler

Who says you need to spend a lot of money on a sprinkler for your garden or lawn. Why not just make this diy plastic soda bottle sprinkler, and use that instead.

This simple diy project allows you to reuse plastic soda bottles and ball point pens. You may have to visit a local hardware store for a few supplies. They shouldn’t cost more than $10.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • plastic soda bottle with cap
  • universal male hose attachment
  • used ball point pens
  • plumbing contact adhesive and sealant
  • hand drill
  • drill bit
  • spade bit
  • calipers or measuring tape
  • utility knife

There is quite a bit of drilling involved with this project, so if you are not comfortable with a hand drill you may want to practice a little bit before attempting to drill your holes.

All your sealed points must be watertight, so it is recommended that you do the sealing in an area with very good ventilation. Slow and steady does it. If you mess up the first one, you can always try on a new soda bottle.
