The next time you run into a pizza box, here is a quick easy project you can build. This diy pizza oven solar oven is probably one of the easiest solar ovens that you can make. It is basically just the pizza box with with its bottom and top sides covered in aluminum foil to reflect the sun’s rays onto your cooking surface.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- used pizza box
- heavy duty aluminum foil
- plastic wrap
- black construction paper
- tape
- non-toxic glue
- marker
- ruler
- scissor
- wooden dowel or stick
Obviously a pizza box is does not have much depth to it, so you will be limited when it comes to the food that you can cook in your solar oven. For example, you can use the sun’s energy to cook some hot dogs or s’mores. Just make sure that you position it so that it faces the sun. It should not take you more than 30 minutes to have this setup and ready to cook.
