DIY 2L Upside Down Tomato Planter

Here is a great way to grow tomatoes or peppers indoors or when you have limited space available for your gardening needs. Why not use this diy 2L plastic bottle upside down tomato planter?

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • tomato seedling
  • 2L plastic soda bottle
  • twine or wire
  • potting soil
  • organic fertilizer
  • utility knife
  • duct tape (optional)
  • skewer or chopstick (optional)
  • spray paint (optional)

Make sure the bottle is clean before you start cutting it. There are a few different versions of this planter available. The one in the video below discards the bottom section you cut off, the other in the picture above uses this section as a water reservoir.
