Canning Peaches In 7 Simple Steps

End of summer is always the best time for me. You got the fresh sweet corn, then you have delicious peaches. Mmmmm, my mouth is just watering as I type this. Right now I am enjoying one, but I know that in a few weeks, they will no longer be available. So what to do, what to do? Well one solution is to can them, so that you can enjoy them for months to come. I do believe I have found the easiest peaches canning recipe, and I am now going to it share that with you, of course.

You will need: ripe peaches, that have the skins easily coming off, sugar and water.  Your tools will be: a water bath, a large kettle and jars to can the peaches in. The process begins with you sanitizing the jars, preparing the syrup to your preffered sweetness, skinning peaches, cutting peaches and then putting everything in jars. After with you heat up the jars in the water bath for a maximum of 30 minutes, before letting them stand for 5 minutes. That’s all there is to it.
